I'm not sure how I feel about this post! Does anyone really want to start thinking about Christmas again in January? IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR TRAVELLERS TO THE UK

From 8 January 2025, New Zealand, Australian and many other nations passport holders will require an ETA to travel to and enter the UK. Applications for New Zealand passport holders is now live.

An ETA is required for:
going to the UK for up to six months for tourism, visiting friends & family, business or short term study
transiting through the UK (including not passing through UK border control)

ETAs costs GBP10 and are usually granted within 3 business days. On some occasions it may take longer. ETAs are valid for two years or until passport expiry, whichever is sooner. You can travel to the UK as many times as you like whilst the ETA remains valid.

ETA's can be applied for online or via an app
