Welcome to your self-contained peaceful private suite nestled in our sunny north-facing country garden.
Quiet, welcoming at one with nature, open the doors to enjoy the tranquility of the garden, sit out on your private deck and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine. Enjoy with some of the bird friends we share our garden which include - native tui, wood pigeons, wax eyes along with quail, pheasants, starlings. Plus we often see hawks majestically soaring overhead.
Country calm yet only 15 minutes from Albany, 50 minutes from Auckland Airport, 30 from the city.
ACCOMODATION
The master bedroom has a super king bed, private ensuite and walk-in wardrobe with bathrobes, iron and ironing board.
The second bedroom has twin beds, it’s own seperate bathroom with bath.
Both bathrooms have large walk-in showers, eco toiletries and hair dryers.
We can accommodate up to four people in two spacious bedrooms. Book one or both, you are assured of privacy as you will be our only guests.
The comfy sunny lounge opens onto the garden, which you are welcome to wander around. It has a kitchenette cupboard with tea and coffee, fridge and Continental Breakfast items, TV and books. Free wi fi.
The Homestay has its own secure entrance, it is easy flat access, park right outside your door.
VACINITY
It is only a one minute drive to our excellent local cafe Black Cottage if you want a cooked breakfast, lunch or a muffin and coffee. We are close to many other excellent restaurants and wineries, ask I can send you some information. Supermarkets and the Albany Shopping Mall are just a 10 minute drive.
We are close to many popular wedding venues and the Coatesville Hall. Enjoy the north, east and west coast beaches, the Hauraki Gulf, the Waitakare Ranges and Auckland City all are a short drive. Ask for information on local and day trips.
We look forward to welcoming you. You can relax, a place to charge the batteries. Convenient, close to motorways, the airport, so many venues and activities.
SUSTAINABILITY
We try to stock and use only natural biodegradable products throughout the property to minimise our carbon footprint. Water is collected from the roof and is filtered . Very occasionally we may ask you to conserve water use, but this is rare. A bin for green food waste is on the deck we collect this to add to our compost bin which after a few months is added to the vegetable garden.

I just had to share this review I got from Leo Molloy who contracted us (very last minute!) on his new HeadQuarters Viaduct bar.
"Our latest very expensive fit-out went pear-shaped when a major supplier boldly advised that our January 16 fabric paper ex Belgium hadn’t arrived as agreed, and wouldn’t be arriving for at least 6 weeks.
We were days away from opening and we didn’t have a plan B option.
Another contractor recommended we connect with Tamzyn of Miss LoLo, a company I was unfamiliar with even though I’m a client of most if not all top-end interior design companies in Auckland.
Tamzyn was outstanding.
The range she offered was high quality and unique.
The most outstanding quality though was their ability to measure and then deliver their superb vinyl wallpaper within 24 hours.
This level of service is extraordinary in a modern world where most of the top-end showrooms largely supply on indent.
We couldn’t be happier with what Miss LoLo delivered and we couldn’t recommend their service and supply enough.
They were, to be frank, just superb!"

We are ideally situated if you are visiting Coatesville for an event perhaps a wedding at one of the many venues close by
The Coatesville Hall is a very popular choice and only 3K down the road
The Coatesville Market is a well known, possibly the best Market in Auckland on the first Sunday of the month over summer

Come and relax this truly unique country setting
Sit outside on your deck with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the late afternoon sun, you can often see quail running across the lawn, hear the Tui’s and see the wood pigeons - Kereru and falcons flying overhead.
The comfortable lounge has tea, coffee and toast making facilities. A small table to sit at and two couches to enjoy the garden view from or watch TV.
The master bedroom has a super king bed with luxurious bamboo sheets, a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with shower and robes provided. $140.00 per night
The second bedroom a queen bed with luxurious bamboo sheets, a seperate bathroom with bath and shower and seperate toilet. Extra $100 per night.
Cleaning fee $45.00
Only alll natural hand wash, shampoo and conditioner, body lotion used.Blade razors, shaving cream, hairdryer and iron provided.
Your private suite has an internal door which is locked from the main house.
Ample off street parking with private access right outside your suite. Parking and access both flat and easy.
