This morning we have left early to miss the crowds at Amber Fort and so we can ride elephants up to the fort.

By the time we were out the fog had lifted so off to the Taj Mahal.

Not much food around here!

9:25am Sunday and a start at Agra Red Fort due to low fog. Once the Sun rises we will go to the Taj Mahal and hopefully most of the fog will be burnt off so we get the best view possible.

On my tours we are very flexible, not tied to company policy and group timings.

The fort is currently quiet which is a bonus. Later when the bus loads arrive from the Taj we will travel across town and visit it 😀

The Lotus Temple, located in New Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its lotus-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá’í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides.

First stop this morning - Red Fort Delhi.

The Red Fort or Lal Qila is a historic fort in the Old Delhi that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned construction of the Red Fort on 12 May 1639, its design is credited to architect Ustad Ahmad Lahori, who also constructed the Taj Mahal.
