Vicki would like to have passed on to you all that she has unfortunately passed away.

Vicki's passion was travelling and showing you all what wonderful sites there are to be seen in a country, and her specialty was finding different and interesting spots for you to visit out of the regular tourist spots with flexibility and she loved you to see natural environments.

If you ever had the pleasure of a tour with Vicki you will no doubt have fond and wonderful memories of your trip.

Many thanks for your support of Vicki's business and we wish her blessings as she flies off to her new adventures.

My last few days out on my bike, I have seen some beautiful wetlands birdlife around the area and on my own doorstep at home in , the gorgeous Tuis in the Harakeke (Flax).
A very peaceful existence while not touring at the moment.

My friend and myself stayed here in March this year gone and what a fabulous place to visit. Brent and Brenda were amazing hosts and would highly recommend. Their passion and love for the Island is infectious!..Thanks guys for the brilliant memories!!

My friend has just finished hiking up to the Takorika Summit which is about a 4.3 kilometer difficult hike, not for likes of me.!! She took some fabulous photos which say it all. This track is near , and definitely a must do for those who like a challenge!

Well thanks to great weather at , and I were able to have the best flight over Aoraki Mount Cook and the glaciers and for any Kiwi out there looking to do that something special while our Borders are closed...have a think about this. Truly a lifetime experience!

The last week was spent with a friend on these islands. What stunning scenery, great seafood, beautiful walks and friendly people...don't forget to wave! It was like stepping back in time in NZ in the 50's. Limited WIFI and no mobile phone coverage....just a place to relax and take it all in!

Yesterday my Guests were off the docked in who were from Canada. As one of my Guests worked in the wine industry they just loved the wineries in the not to mention of course the huge mussell platter at the /NZ for lunch...YUM!

Rainy days and cruise ships 🥰

We're pretty happy that the rain has come, with such a high fire risk around the region we are delighted for the grey skies.

Also the addition of visitors on the Cruise ship MS Europa (https://www.hl-cruises.com/ships/ms-europa) that we don't often see over in the Bay, its been lovely to meet passengers as they popped over to Kai for a spot of breakfast.

This is very popular among our International Guests on the Cruise Ships coming into . They always enjoy the experience at and these guys had tasted mussels all over the world and YES the were the best! Another brilliant day!
