Mānawatia a Matariki! ✨

This morning we celebrated Matariki at the summit of our Greengates chairlift and were lucky enough to view the Matariki star constellation with Coronet Peaks nearest and dearest, locals, visitors and crew.

We came together to share knowledge in a korero with Darren Rewi, Māori Kaumatu and Brian Boyle, an astronomy expert. 🌌

Brian also provided this incredible image “The Matariki Express”, this image is also being featured at the Winter Stellar Exhibit in Arrowtown if you’d like to see it up close and personal. Thank you 📷

"Julie was a great host and communication with her was flawless. Her recommendations of places to go and things to do in Queenstown is an added bonus. The place itself is immaculate and spotless. The facilities listed are available and of good quality. I did cook frequently and appreciate that everything was provided. She even had salt, pepper and condiments for use. The heaters and heated blankets were a plus in this winter season. Definitely worth it and did not regret my choice given that my husband and I look forward coming home to Julie’s lovely place everyday. Will come back if given opportunity to visit Queenstown in future.... The pride you take in ensuring guests are comfortable and standards of a high quality stay is apparent when I stayed at this Air BNB place so do keep up the great standards. We enjoyed our stay and really look forward to come home everyday.... Took me 3 years to save up for this New Zealand trip and our first stay really make our trip worthwhile... Have a good life, Julie"

“love this apartment so much! This is kind of enjoyment that wake up by the beautiful lake. Although it’s so close to the sidewalk, the view outside the balcony is incomparable. What’s more, the bed is so comfortable and the traffic condition is very convenient. The bus stop is so close to the apartment which makes it easy to go the central city or airport. And it only takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the central city”

A beautiful way to end the week.... "We stayed for 7 nights in this property provided by Aura Queenstown. The location is brilliant - a short 5 minute drive into town and a short walk back to the amazing food and coffee in the Boatshed at the Marina in Frankton. The views were outstanding - super close access to the Queenstown trail and lake access - albeit a bit cold to swim! Lovely touches - such as electric blankets being switched on and heating turned on for our arrival. An unexpected benefit was a mid week clean and new linen - amazing! Julie was great at staying in touch ahead of and during and our stay. Highly recommend!"🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
