The founder of Commercial Painting Limited, Chris Harris, began his painting career in 1996 as an apprentice painter with a well-known company in Hamilton, NZ. There he learned the practices and ethics to be a competent and successful painter. After he completed his time he graduated to being a qualified tradesperson, spending the next 10 years gaining further experience as a leading hand and fore

man on large commercial sites. In 2005 Chris moved to Auckland and worked for some of the largest painting companies in Australasia. With a strong focus in operations and sales he priced and managed some of Auckland’s most coveted repaint projects including: maintenance painting of the Ports of Auckland’s cranes, a full exterior repaint of the Princes Wharf complex, many full school repaints (interior and exterior) and various other complex painting contracts. He and his team are qualified for using access equipment such as Knuckle boom lifts, cherry pickers, industrial roped access (abseiling) and working at height on scaffolding. Commercial Painting Limited boasts having a network of over 100 expert painters in and around Auckland and has the capability to place the right staff their projects. Chris and the team welcome feedback and are constantly looking for opportunities to improve. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Commercial Painting Limited. 2024 is behind us now. It was a year that had a lot to teach. I know I took a lot of learnings from it. For that I am grateful.

We have a great team of painters. We shared many happy moments throughout the year. Completing projects with the usual “you’re a legend” feedback. Completed apprenticeships, beginning apprenticeships for some. We went indoor go-karting twice, burgers, pizzas, Dining in in the dark (look it up), mini putt…

A big thanks to our painters! And thank you to our customers and supporters.

2025 should see us painting heaps of buildings and more happy moments to come!
