📢 Important Immigration Updates! 📢
We want to inform you about recent changes to New Zealand immigration instructions that came into effect on 26 June 2024. Here's what you need to know:
📝 English Language Tests
Clarification: English language tests cannot be taken remotely outside of a test centre, including ‘at home’ tests offered by some test providers.
New Score: An additional score of ‘C+’ has been introduced for the Occupational English Test (OET), which did not exist when INZ first began recognising this test.
💼 Work to Residence Instructions
Wording Change: A minor change has been made to remove an inconsistency regarding when work experience can be claimed for occupations that have been removed, or may be removed in future, from the Green List, Care Workforce sector, and Transport sector lists.
Experience Claim: Work experience can now be claimed from when a person’s employment in an acceptable role began, as long as the occupation was included on the relevant list at some point during the 24-month work experience period.
📅 Holidays Act Reference
Clarification: A minor change has been made to clarify a reference to section 16 of the Holidays Act 2003.
Stay informed and make sure you are up-to-date with these important changes to ensure a smooth immigration process.
