đź‘€ Keep an eye out for a few new signs about the place reminding people what to do in an earthquake (đź’™ your work parks and reserves team!).

Step 1 - Drop Cover Hold
Step 2 - Long Strong Get Gone
Step 3 - Get out of the Blue

That's right! New catchphrase! 💬💣

🌊💙 Tsunami evacuation zones in our Bay of Plenty region are BLUE.

The old ones were orange, yellow and red depending on the size of the expected tsunami. But now they are a super clear message - Blue means go. Don’t wait, don’t hesitate – just head inland or to higher ground. 🚨💨

You can check the maps on our website and even print a couple out to pop on the âť„ fridge for friends or whanau staying with you.

If someone has been in touch with your organisation about putting a sign up, these are now available (chat with the awesome team at the isite to arrange pick up).

Check if your home, business, marae, or school is in a blue zone here: 👇
