About Wellington Combined Taxis
We provide small passenger service in the greater Wellington region with our taxi fleet of over 400 cars and a shuttle fleet of 15 vans. We are based in Newtown from where we operate a call centre to service our customers and provide bureau service to other taxi companies in the country.
We are looking for Customer Service Representatives for our call centre as a CSR, you will be taking calls from customers who wish to book taxi rides with us.
Our call centre operates 24-hour service 365 days of the year, so the ability to work roster shifts on the weekends and some night shifts are required.
We are looking for individuals who
• Can work well under pressure and can be confident in a fast-paced environment
• Are eager to learn new skills, including computer applications used for our dispatch system
• Have a typing speed of 40 wpm
• Have ability to work flexible hours
• Have ability to get to work outside of public transport hours
To be successful and in this role and to progress it will be beneficial (not necessary) to have
• High computer literacy skills
• Previous Customer service/ Call Centre experience
• Familiarity with the Wellington, Nelson, and Christchurch area
Training
Full on-the-job training for two weeks (40 hours a week) will be provided to successful applicants. Training will be fully paid and offered during normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Successful applicants will be expected to commence full time work training from September 2022.
