Our 2021/2022 Kaituna Summers program is for you!

Two programs:
16 – 21 year old paddlers
Over 21 year paddlers

Proudly run in association with our friends at Waka Kayaks, this program includes:

- 3 days boat hire
- bunk room accommodation right at the put-in
- 4 hours of kayak coaching, daily
- Warm weather, good flows, high stoke!
- Meet and greet with some of New Zealand’s top paddlers, Kenny Mutton, Sam Sutton
- Share this post with your mates, and tag us in your best kayaking photo and go in the draw to win a Palm Enduro spray skirt in your size

If your needing to get your Coast 2 Coast grade 2 certification for 2022 get in contact.

Next 2 day starter course is 18th 19th September

We are also starting Tuesday evenings training session meeting at the bottom of the Ohua channel boat ramp (sh33 between mourea and okerefalls) 5pm for the next few weeks. Then 5 30 once we get more daylight.
Cost is $40 per session, this will include skill based coaching and fitness session.

Summer Is coming and we are starting learn to kayak lessons after work 2 days a week.

Kaituna kayaks staff have been away in China the last few weeks at the Tibetan round of IRF World rafting championship where both the men's and women's kiwi teams took top spot as overall winners. Now we are back home getting ready for a busy summer out on the river
