Another of Selwyn’s secrets! Arion Farm Park is great for little ones and big ones. From petting bunnies to pony rides, they ever have a big Easter event on Monday. It’s close by and great value for money. It comes highly recommended by our chief critics, Mr 6 1/2 and Miss 4!

Exciting morning as Ballooning Canterbury - New Zealand's Ultimate Scenic Adventure paid us a visit and landed in our paddock across the road. They kindly showed the kids around the basket and gave them a demo of the burners. We definitely recommend you pay them a visit if you’re visiting locally!

We've enjoyed a good run of weather for calving in Canterbury. Dry feet and sunny East Coast days make for happy cattle. We hope calving is progressing well for others around the country.

🐶 Meet the Team 🐶

This is Chopper, our 13 year old sleep specialist. We don’t know how he does it but he manages to sleep 20hours a day. Maybe he’s actually a cat….?
Chopper loves to say hi but don’t throw a ball unless you want to loose the rest of your day doing it. He’s banked a lot of energy with all that sleep!
Even though he’s not allowed inside the lodge, he told me the bed looks top notch 😉
