Lou Giacon, the company principal is the third generation practising terrazzo and stonemasonry in NZ, With his son and nephew there is now a fourth generation. Luigi Giacon emigrated to NZ in 1930 just in time to for the Napier earthquake and the subsequent "Art Deco" rebuilding of that used so much terrazzo for floors and walls, partitions and entrances.
