🧡 This was our third year with Go Local out in the water to see the turtles with the women on our retreat.

🌊 Quite often for the women travelling with us it’s their first time snorkeling and the team are so helpful with making sure they are really well looked after while in the water. Safety is an incredibly high priority of these guys and makes us feel safe in the passage.

🪸 The Go Local team are incredibly warm and inviting, knowledgeable about the reef and the local area they are dedicated to the preservation of the coral reef and the shore line with projects in place to help build up the coral, enhancing the ecosystem 🌊 🪸 🪸 🪸🐠🐢🐙

We love visiting the local animal shelters when in Rarotonga, visiting Paws & Claws with some food donations that a guest kindly brought over on the trip.
Paws & Claws have been working to stabilise the cat population on the island with de-sexing and the numbers of kittens has reached a much better number on the island.

Don’t you love Facebook memories sometimes? Today, 12 years ago, I left Wat Kow Tahm (Mountain Cave Monastery) in Koh Phangan, Thailand, after a 10-day silent vipassana. Yes, 10 days of not speaking!!
The hardest thing for me was sitting down with my legs crossed for hours, attempting to tame the monkey mind. 😵‍💫 But I did it!!
The 2nd photo is the sign outside the bathroom - I saw no snakes 😅 and the 3rd photo is the little house I rented in the middle of a Thai village for a while. Happy times!! 😍
