Theatre Alive Nelson Charitable Trust is an independent cooperative theatre companythat was started in June 2001 by Hugh and Judith Neill.

Theatre Alive have performed as far south as Franz Josef to as far north as Waiheke Island. Theatre Alive Nelson Charitable Trust is an independent cooperative theatre company that was started in June 2001 by Hugh and Judith Neill. It has two arms to its operation. The first is to produce modern plays of a professional standard that both challenge and entertain the audience. Our plays have been pr

oduced throughout the Nelson/Tasman region, including the Theatre Royal, Suter Theatre, Playhouse Theatre & Café and the Mudcastle. Over the past 9 years we have produced and staged over 25 plays/musicals. The second is to provide a varied repertoire of interactive entertainment for corporate or private functions plus for conference events. We can cater for groups as small as 25 to as many as 200, depending upon the event. We have performed as far south as Franz Josef to as far north as Waiheke Island. The themed shows that we present are Fawlty Towers, Allo Allo, Night of the Stars, Rocky Horror, Halloween, Austen Powers and murder mystery evenings to name a few.
