King's College have just arrived home after a fantastic trip to NASA where they participated in the 5-day camp. It's been great to hear of some of their experiences. Check out this one from their teacher, Bryan..
"We heard from an astronaut called Sam Durrance. Sam headed into space for two shuttle missions as the principal scientist behind a UV telescope. His story was interesting because his path to becoming an astronaut was through scientific means (he was the physicist behind the telescope) and he was supposed to be going up in the shuttle around the time of the Challenger accident. He mentioned that it took 5 quarantines, last farewell BBQs and special breakfasts before they finally took off. His first mission group had the record for the most amount of time in quarantine before a launch."

Ngai Tahu group are having such a great time. Here's what they got up to today: "we Googled it! We had three fantastic speakers at Google, took a campus tour, got lots of great pics in the Google Android Garden and had an Amazing lunch - something their employees get every day. After Google, we headed to the Intel Museum - interesting for the group to see the evolution of the microprocessor - the guts of the computer! What an exciting day!! 👍
Ngai Tahu group are currently out and about enjoying San Fran. Day one is in the books and they are having fun, ready to explore some more! Enjoy team 👍👍
