Been home almost two weeks and only just managed to sort out issues. Couldn't uploading photos so here is a “Flashback” to the rest of our river cruise.

Day 9 – Koblenz, a historic city where you can see the confluence of the majestic Moselle and Rhine rivers and the tip of land where the two rivers join is called the “German Corner”.

Day 10 – Dusseldorf, a busy and lively capital of the Nord-Rhine-Westfalen province of Germany with a bustling modern harbour precinct.

Day 11 – Maastricht, visited the ancient city of Aachen and the Three Country Point of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands located on a finger of land.

Day 12 – Nijmegen, has claims to be the oldest city in the Netherlands. Also visited Arnhem Airborne Museum retracing the steps of the British parachutists during the Battle of Arnhem, code named “Operation Market Garden”.

Day 13 – Bruges, the pearl of Belgium! A popular tourist destination with 2 million visitors each year flocking to a perfectly preserved medieval town and let’s not forget the Belgium Chocolates.

Day 14 – Veere (name means Ferry) a charming town with 1500 population in southwestern Netherlands. So disappointed not to have seen this quaint place, it was pouring down with rain so I didn’t venture out.

Day 15 – Amsterdam, we disembark today taking away wonderful memories of this river cruise, new friends, the fantastic crew and say, Thanks Scenic Pearl!

Day 6 – Cochem a town with just over 5,000 inhabitants and its iconic Reichsburg Castle sitting high up on a steep peak overlooking the Moselle River.
Day 7 – Bernkastel sitting on the Middle Moselle it is a well-known winegrowing centre with romantic alleys and historic half-timbered houses
The 'Doctor-Keller' is a unique feature. Between 1650 and 1850, two cellar tunnels of 40 and 70m length driven into the rock. The “doctor" of Bernkastel is the most famous wine of the city.
An excursion to one of the smallest countries in the world and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, amazing!
Day 8 – A well needed rest day, cruising the beautiful Moselle Valley passing quaint villages, hill top castles and vine covered slopes.
