Wildfinder | Days Bay: Based right at the end of the wharf in beautiful Days Bay, we offer kayak and stand-up paddleboard hire to explore this beautiful bay from the water, or to explore on land take one of our guided walks up into the hills for fantastic views looking out over the bay and Wellington harbour. Bike and eBike hire is also available for those wanting to head around the bays and out to Pencarrow or the Hutt River.
Wildfinder | Kaitoke: Based right at the start of the Remutaka Rail Trail in Upper Hutt, ride this incredible trail with it's tunnels, bridges and mountain views. Either as an out and back ride, or follow it right to the end and catch our shuttle back to the car park (pre bookings essential).

Following the tragic death of Jack Skellett in Wellington Harbour in 2021, the Jack Skellett give-a-little fund was set up to run FREE Kayak Safety Workshops for the community. We've now hosted three of these workshops, with a fourth scheduled for December 2024.

The Beechwood Lane Bridge is the newest Truss styled bridge on the Remutaka Cycle Trail. It's located in Te Marua, right before the Te Marua Dairy (which sells great coffee by the way!) and is ready for all of our day trip and multi day tour guests!

Our Story
Here's the deal. We thought it'd be sweet to give free gear hire to anyone who wants it this summer. So we've teamed up with our friends, The Boatshed in Days Bay, The Bike Shed Pencarrow, and Cycle Remutaka to cook up a plan.
Basically, we've worked out how much it'll cost us all to operate safely all summer. It's $300,000 - that includes staff wages, overheads and other operating costs. As soon as we hit that total, through gear hire, snacks, ice creams - whatever you buy with us - gear hire at all three places is free, for anyone, for the rest of summer. The earlier we hit that total, the more awesome summer days of free gear you'll have.
We're even counting vouchers in the total, so buy gear hire vouchers for Christmas gifts, or shout your mates - it all adds up!
In our book, summer ends at Easter weekend 2017. Let's get our costs covered as early as possible - so everyone can get their adventure on before Easter next year!
