🚴‍♀️🏞️ Day one of our Alp to Ocean Tour was blessed by beautiful weather!

Starting off from Queenstown, we drove towards Mt. Cook, the start of our journey! We and our bikes were flown by helicopter over the Tasman River, surrounded by the towering peaks of New Zealand's highest mountains! 🚁✨

Afterwards, it was time to ride to our accommodation nestled in a remote and utterly stunning location. 🏡✨ 🇳🇿

Final day of our West Coast Wilderness tour – last but certainly not least!

We began the day with a scenic river cruise along the Wilkin River. The Haast River, our usual spot for the cruise, was flooded due to recent rains. However, our expert team always has plans B, C, and even D to ensure you're in good hands, come rain or sun.

To end our incredible trip, we embarked on an amazing ride alongside Lake Hawea and Lake Wanaka. What an awesome way to conclude this remarkable trip! 🚴‍♀️🏞️

Day five of our West Coast Wilderness Tour with Escape by Cycle!

We leave behind our lovely accommodation and drive towards to the awe-inspiring Franz Josef Glacier, a true highlight of the West Coast experience. We managed a bit of exploration and cycling before the renowned West Coast rain caught up with us.

Taking shelter, we enjoyed a well-deserved lunch break, followed by an enlightening visit to theWest Coast Wildlife Centre to discover everything about the kiwis

Day four of our West Coast Wilderness Adventure.

We kicked off the day with a stroll at Hokitika Gorge, navigating paths and suspension bridges to witness its breathtaking blue waters. A perfect start before our ride, accompanied by a picnic to fuel up for the adventure ahead.

Each day brings a new ride and a fresh wonder for our eyes—the ever-changing landscapes of the West Coast never cease to amaze us. 🚴‍♀️

Our journey included a stop at the West Coast Treetops Walkway, offering the surreal experience of walking among the clouds. Continuing on to Ross, where the West Coast Wilderness Trail concludes after 133 km🏆🏆. But even if it is the end of the trail, it's not the end of our West Coast Adventure.🌲🏞️

Escape by Cycle is NZ’s premier cycle tour company. Based out of Queenstown, we run 6 day all-inclusive tours from Oct-Apr on NZ’s Great Rides, around the lower South Island. We are looking for superstar Tour Guides and support staff to join our fabulous team this season. Applicants need to be passionate, professional and experienced in tourism or hospitality.
