🚌 Kia ora Hobsonville Point! A friendly heads up for local commuters - from Wednesday, 15 May 2024, Auckland Transport buses servicing Catalina Bay will be redirected via Hudson Bay Road to a temporary bus stop near the ferry wharf.

🚧 The move is due to construction work on the roundabout at the end of Launch Road, and is expected to be in place for the next four months. See the map below for the new bus route. Public car parking is available by the steps down to Catalina Bay, on both sides of Bomb Point Drive and along Launch Road.

There’s plenty to do and enjoy at Hobsonville Point. Head down to Catalina Bay to discover some of the local gems this waterfront precinct has to offer! 🌺🌊

There is now an additional, new 180-minute free public car park for Catalina Bay hospitality customers, located at the corner of Bomb Point Drive and Commanders Avenue. From there it’s only a short walk to the hugely popular Catalina Bay Farmers Market, restaurants and cafés 🌟

Make sure to note when you enter the car park, as this is a towaway area. It’s not possible to move your vehicle within the car park to extend the three-hour time limit. The drop off/pick up zone and mobility parks are located at Catalina Bay and accessed via Hudson Bay Road.

For one afternoon only teams from My Kitchen Rules will be taking over Little Creatures! Join judges Manu & Colin & taste for FREE the teams version of pub food.

Tuesday 17th of October with service from 3-5PM. Entry limited to the first 150 people.
Food cooked by the contestants will available until it runs out.

Hobby Pointers: A heads up that next week from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 August, a large crane will be in use at the end of Launch Road roundabout, to transport and lift building materials. We've put a Traffic Management Plan in place to ensure everyone's safety. A traffic controller will be present during the crane's delivery, to guide vehicles and pedestrians.
