Auckland Airport Holiday parking 🚗✈️

If you’re heading away, we have some helpful last-minute updates for you if you need to tick ‘book a car park’ off your to do list.
🚗 We have good availability for Park & Ride South & Valet Parking. For all other car parks, we have limited availability.
🚗 We have our domestic parking offer 7 days for $77* for Standard pre-book car park O.

As more families are transiting through our facilities, please allow extra time to get out to the airport and through the terminals.

Update from Auckland Airport

Latest Update: Now resolved. The network outage impacting systems at the Auckland Airport international terminal has now been resolved, and airlines are underway checking in passengers and bags.

Earlier this morning airlines needed to use manual processes to check in customers, slowing check-in processes, creating congestion and delaying flights.

We would like to sincerely thank travellers for their understanding and patience as the airport worked closely with external network providers to get the issue fixed.

The check-in area is still busy and the airport team is on hand with snacks and water, and support for parents who may be travelling with young children.

Airlines also have additional staff on board and we hope to clear the queues as quickly as possible.

Auckland Airport asks that travellers please continue to keep updated about their flight times by checking their airlines apps and websites.

Just a reminder about an exciting change at Queenstown Airport.

New 3D X-ray scanners have eliminated the need for passengers to remove electronics, and powders, liquids, aerosols, and gels from their carry-on bags before security screening. This applies to all domestic and international travellers.

If you have unprocessed film, please put it into your checked luggage or ask Aviation Security staff to inspect it visually, as it can't go through the new machines.

Heads up for those heading to Auckland Airport over 19-22 September 🛫

Heading to the airport? Please allow extra time when travelling here over 19 – 22 September.
There’s lots of change happening around the precinct, including some temporary changes to some of the roads on the network.
For travellers, this means give yourself plenty of time to get to the terminals.
For motorists in the area, please note over this period, Jimmy Ward Crescent will be temporarily closed to through traffic; and Nixon Road will be temporarily closed to south bound traffic.
If using the airport as a bypass, you might want to choose a different route, such as SH20A. It could be busier than usual on the roads here.
