So our last trip was to one of our favourite winter hang outs, Athenree Hot Springs Holiday Park. We have to say, this wee camp is awesome if your looking for a trip away in these cooler months. The camp has great facilities that are kept extremely clean and tidy. If you're looking to treat yourself, nearby towns of Waihi and Waihi beach, have a selection of quirky shops and cafés. Our favorite feature of this camp is of course the hot pool. It can get quite busy, but there's nothing better than soaking in the steaming pool on a crisp winters morning.

The sun is shining! There's nothing better than a sunny crisp winters days. It wasn't shining the other though when we did this short update video.

We had 2 fantastic days in beautiful Kaikoura. The NZMCA have 2 parks to choose from, we stayed at the one on Beach Road. It has heaps of room, great facilities and is pretty quiet too. We thought it was great how the park is divided up into blocks giving it a more private feel. It's also good to have the main areas that you need to drive on made from compacted stone (no boggy mess in the winter). If the weather is kind you'll also have a picture postcard view of the snow capped mountains too. Where to next?..........................

We don't usually do much in the way of advertising or promotional stuff through our posts. We have however been inundated over the past few months with enquiries for caravans so we thought we'd just do a quick update on what's been happening and what's in the pipeline here at Freedom Caravanz.
