Our Story

The Christchurch Fe**sh Ball has since day one, been the best event of its kind in New Zealand. We strive to bring you among the best performers from all around the globe, exclusively for your viewing pleasure.

From humble beginnings 20 years ago in an underground club in Christchurch, we have grown steadily in numbers each year, until (pre-quakes), we’d fill the largest club style venue in the city. Our motto right from the start has been to uphold the highest standard for the people who come along - with acts, decor, vibe and WTF moments.

We’ve flown in international Fe**sh performers and educators such as Midori (USA), Kumi (USA), Lee Harrington (USA), Mark and Flygirl (Aust), Empress Stah (UK), Lukas Zpira (France), Satomi (Japan) and many many more. We’ve had Fashion shows, Drag shows, Flesh Hook suspension acts, Aerial performers, Sh***ri and Ki***ku shows and tastings, B**M play (thank you Uncommon Bonds), Pony Play performances, Burlesque performers, St*****rs, Circus, Theatre and so much more.

Christchurch took a pretty big hit with the 2010 (and successive) earthquakes, we lost not just precious lives, but IMHO the heart of our city. Whole blocks of beautiful heritage buildings were bulldozed indiscriminately so the city could “move forward” again. This in my eyes was a crime . . a white collar, money driven crime.
