Martinboroughs all new asphalt pump track is complete!

A massive congratulations and thank you to Charlotte and all of the Martinborough community who helped fundraise to make this one happen. It’s been a long time coming and we are so pleased to deliver an international standard pump track a long with a smaller kids pump track. Official opening is not until the 30th of November so please no riding yet!

Also a big thanks to PCL contracting.

Sanders reserve trails officially open this weekend and we need your help to get them running sweet!

For the long term protection of the trails they have been surfaced but this surface can be loose at first and it needs some time for a ride line to wear in. We know this is not the most ideal riding surface to start with but in the long term as the trails pack in this will ensure and all weather riding surface. This is particularly important going into winter next year. There’s some forecast rain for this weekend which is the ideal time to get tyres on the new trails!

We will be returning in the coming months to remedy any areas that have excess gravel and to ensure the trails are wearing as they should. Thanks for your patience guys and look forward to seeing you out there on the trails.

Such an epic afternoon at Kaitoke School Aotea - Great Barrier Island for the official opening of the Levi Golaboski memorial pump track. So many kids and parents enjoying the new track on bikes, skateboards, scooters and roller skates.

The guys have been cracking on this winter with a big project for Auckland Council. We are constructing a grade 3 and 4 jumps line, a flow descent and 2 XC loops, it will be a great little family bike park when finished.

Unfortunately we can’t disclose the location just yet as we have been having a bit of trouble keeping people off the very soft trails which has caused a bit of damage. If you do know this location please stay off until trails have been officially opened, thank you!

If only all urban planning was as thoughtful and beautiful as Paerata Rise in south Auckland. Surrounded by millions of native tree plantings, walking trails, dog parks, playgrounds and now an asphalt pump track, what a place to live!

The students at Riverhills are thrilled that their new track is ready for use! We believe that tracks in schools are the best way to encourage outdoor activity and help students develop a love for it.

Getting kids on bikes is great for the community, but building facilities is the key to getting youth outside and away from screens.

The team has completed the construction of the Riverhills Pump Track and Flat Track this week, and both tracks look fantastic.

The pump track is a long, rhythm section that is seamlessly integrated with the Flat Track's entry and exit points. Wooden features line the sides of the track and blend into the container that houses the school's bicycles. The track's twists and turns around the field are designed to help build the children's confidence and ability.

Riverhill School's new community asset is will be a well-loved and frequently used facility and will soon become a part of the children's identity in the area. It's certain that this initiative will foster the love of being outdoors, away from screens, and encourage an active lifestyle.
