Vitrocsa New Zealand The Minimalist Window - Swiss design, Australian manufactured. Largest glass sizes (up to 18m2) hidden and minimised components. High Thermal Qualities.

Vitrocsa embraces a simple philosophy – that less is more. the less visible the window track and frame, the more the experience of the space is enhanced. This unique solution offers an opportunity for architects and designers to create expansive, uninterrupted views, maximising the connection between interior spaces and their surrounds. The Vitrocsa system uses glazing as a structural element. All

tracks and frames are hidden within the architecture, enabling the slimmest frames to support the largest panes of glass. Developed in 1993 by swiss engineers applying precise watch technology, every component, detail and junction is reduced to its bare essentials in a quest for simplicity. The best use of Vitrocsa Glazing Systems is for the largest of openings with a minimum number of large panels. Brought to Australia in 2008 by a passionate team with an extensive building and architecture background, vitrocsa has been employed in state-of- the-art commercial and residential projects
across Australia. Extrusions and accessories are manufactured in Switzerland and manufactured on-site in Botany, along with locally sourced components. Close communication and a dedicated team ensures seamless production, transport and installation, while ongoing research, development and refinement of new and existing systems ensures Vitrocsa remains at the cutting edge of the market.

Installation of the Vitrocsa system requires more than general window, door or curtain wall installation experience. Due to the uniqueness of the Vitrocsa system, Vitrocsa units should only be installed by our own factory trained installation experts. Furthermore, Vitrocsa requires an exceptionally high level of precision for installation for which adequate amount of time should be allocated.

Vitrocsa embraces a simple philosophy – that less is more. Meticulous engineering, designed to be housed within the structure, allows enormous panels of glass to be moved and hidden away.

This unique solution offers an opportunity for architects and designers to create expansive, uninterrupted views, maximising the connection between interior spaces and their surrounds.

Vitrocsa is a unique and special system that relies heavily on precision manufacture, assembly and installation of all components. Except for the profiles, every single component of the Vitrocsa is developed and manufactured exclusively by a watch components manufactory in Switzerland with a precision of a 1/100 of a millimetre, the standard of quality of high-end Swiss watches. The sqm cost of Vitrocsa depends on many factors, including size, configuration, system and wind load and thermal requirements.

Yes our systems come in 3001, TH+ and SWIMMS which are the different types of aluminium profiles used to create our products. In 1993 the original ‘3001’ system was invented by Eric Jouray the founder and designer of Vitrocsa. This system has been copied by many who still use this same system. Since then Vitrocsa has developed the improved TH+ system which is used across all our products and comes in double and triple glass with sizes up to 18m2. The most recent product is SWIMMS which is the slimmest product of all with completely hidden top & bottom rails on sliding panels. It also comes in single glazing as well as double + triple. This system is used for our Sliding product in mono, single and triple glazing with sizes up to 18m2 (6x3m).

Our Invisible Tracks system hides the tracks below the floor level to provide a seamless continuation of flooring between inside and outdoor areas. Panels slide smoothly along tracks that are embedded below the floor level. The flooring can continue without interruption from inside to outside with only a 10mm wide slot visible per track for the VA system.

Each panel with the Vitrocsa 'Turnable Corner System' can slide independently of each other and can be completely hidden along a wall down the side of a building or stacked inside a pocket/cavity. With the use of a unique roller system, the panels freely move in any direction and can be up to 10m2 (or 300kg) using single, double glazing.

Vertically sliding or guillotine panels allow windows to open based on a unique counter-weight system. Vertical panels can also be used as a walk through system with a panel that either slides up or disappears into a cavity in the ground. Our Guillotines can also be fitted with motorisation as an optional extra.

All aluminium tracks and frames are built into the structure and hidden from view with only the slimmest interlocks visible. Horizontal sliding panels function with unique patented stainless steel bearings installed within the floor tracks rather than on the window panel to allow panels to freely glide. Flush floor finish with no external site strip drain required as the tracks act as the drain for the glass.

Vitrocsa Sliding Doors & Windows are the slimmest and largest doors with the most flexible design. All doors are custom made to measure and are designed for the largest openings using the largest glass panels available (18m2). There is no limit to the number of panels or tracks that can be used. Unlike other doors, fixed panels are not required as all panels can slide allowing greater flexibility in design. Doors can open at both ends, the centre, a corner, or slide into a cavity or pocket within the wall.

Vitrocsa can be built to ANY size specification. The limitation is determined by the maximum single panel glass size currently available from glass manufacturers worldwide. In New Zealand & Australia we are able to source panels up to 18m2 (6x3m). Obviously, the opening can be much larger than this with the use of multiple panels.
