Lake Quill is a lake located in the Fiordland National Park of New Zealand at 979 meters above sea level. Circus Lake of approximately 1.2 km2 is the source of Sutherland Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the country and the seventh highest in the world, falling from Lake Quill in three levels in the Arthur Valley along the Milford Trail, approximately 20 km from Milford Sound. Located in an alpine basin 979 meters above sea level, Lake Quill was formed by the movement of glaciers during the last ice age.
