So we're looking at an open border in to Aotearoa New Zealand in the coming months, including to those who require visas.
Here's some info to get you started. Give it plenty of lead time because things are moving pretty slowly right now.

The Government has announced a new faster timeline for reopening the border and reconnecting New Zealand with the world. New Zealand’s border will now be fully reopened by the end of July – three months earlier than originally planned.

The New Zealand border is finally opening to travellers from many countries, without the need for isolation on arrival. This is great news!
So from 13 April for Australians and 2 May for those from other visa-waiver countries like the US, UK and much of Europe, New Zealand will be open for travel.
Now's the time to book for the coming year as bookings will be busy and airlines are increasing flights. There's winter skiing and snow trips through June to September and then we launch in to a new summer.
