We are really pleased to be able to provide additional information regarding our Season Pass options for 2023, with hope that these will very soon be available for you to purchase.
As shared in an update earlier in the month, we reconfirm that a 2023 Season Pass will give you access to the full 1050 hectares of world class terrain, across both Whakapapa and Tūroa.
Today we can now also share our 2023 Season Pass products and pricing, as we look to offer you more flexibility than before.
In 2023, we will offer a regular Season Pass – as you know and love – with the benefits of 15% off food and beverages, retail, and group lessons. You will continue to receive four 50% off buddy passes with your purchase. An Adult Season Pass will be priced at $599 (Anytime) or $349 (Weekday).
We will also give you the option of two further passes – Season+ and SeasonFlexi – with the same Season Pass discount benefits and buddy passes.
A Season+ Pass will give you more assurance, with a partial or up to full refund in the case of unforeseen and serious injury or illness during the 2023 season. This pass will also cover you for pregnancy. An Adult Season+ Pass will be priced at $649 (Anytime) and $399 (Weekday).
A SeasonFlexi Pass gives you our maximum assurance, with a “no questions asked” 50% refund should your priorities or plans change, and you cannot make the most of your 2023 season pass. If you are unable to use your 2023 season pass more than four times, we will refund half of your purchase price. An Adult SeasonFlexi Pass will be priced at $899 (Anytime) and $649 (Weekday).

Season Passes will only be on sale for the duration of the Season Pass campaign (likely a four-week period), and not again later or in-season. So, once we can confirm our on-sale date (of which we continue to await confirmation from the powers that be), we would suggest you don’t hibernate this season and lock in for 2023 during this campaign period.
As also shared previously, work continues alongside key stakeholders to realise a future for Mt Ruapehu beyond the 2023 season. If for any reason these proceedings impact a 2023 season and the season does not go ahead, any Season Pass purchases will be refunded to you in full.
Further information for Life Pass holders is still in the works, again awaiting direction from the Crown, through the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).
