…and we had so much fun designing this accessible tour, immersing ourselves in the process by trying it all out firsthand. Every step of the way, from mapping out accessible routes to testing the equipment, was an exciting adventure (not without small challenges). We enjoyed ensuring that every detail was perfect and that all guests would have a fantastic and inclusive experience. Marc & Steve, San Francisco: “Absolutely terriffic! Our guide gently probed about our interests at the outset and customized the tour on the fly. We were able to experience parts of Auckland that were clearly not on the standard checklist (e.g. walked through rainforest in the middle of the city, experienced how the locals enjoy beautiful Cornwall Park, were spoilt with incredible views across the Waitematā Harbour) and felt by the end that we had gotten to know the city. We will definitely be back and plan to connect with Gesa to help us explore the surrounding area.”

Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland Team finished the Alps to Ocean Cycle today supporting the global Lend Us Some Muscle Campaign to find a cure for FA.

A stunning cycle ride from Mt Cook to Oamaru, and in our opion, a ride hard to beat. Spectacular scenery, great hospitality, a fantastic team and heaps of fun!

IMAGINE being a child or a teenager and being told you have a degenerative muscle disease which will lead to a loss of muscle co-ordination, fatigue, vision impairment, hearing loss, slurred speech and then a serious heart condition - this is Friedreich Ataxia. 1 in every 30,000 affected. 1 in 90 are carriers. There is currently no cure.

Day 2: 38 km rain & headwind, very cold and wet, two falls and then the sun came out for the next 44km.

A bit of a challenge but nothing in comparison what all the people with FA face on a daily basis.

I am Gesa, "a Kiwi by choice" and so fortunate to call Aotearoa and Auckland home. Leave the crowds behind, feel the beautiful nature and experience the real Auckland, that is what I stand for. Personal, flexible and individual! Above all, it is the personal touch that keeps clients coming back to book their next tour with me. I am proud to say that every tour I design is still unique to each client - tailor-made to create a special experience. All my tours are open to customization. As a keen runner and while training on Stewart Island (most southern island of NZ) up to Cape Reinga (most northern tip of NZ where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet) my passion and love for nature deepened and the idea of " Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland" formed. A Boutique Tour Guide Company with the idea for visitors to feel and experience the real Auckland and it's wonderful outdoors while being active and leaving the crowds behind. . . Take in the amazing nature while walking, listening to the wonderful bird life and seeing native animals of New Zealand in the wild. Originally from Hannover in Germany, I am living since seven years with my Kiwi husband and our three energetic sons in Auckland after spending ten years in Sydney and six months in Paris. For the last twenty years we have been hiking/running/cycling the "Land of the long white cloud" with its breath-taking nature and I would love to show you this magnificent part of the world.
