This week, one of our crews has been working in Amberley on a small project for the Hurunui District Council, installing a new culvert. We've experienced all four seasons in just a few days, but that never stops our team from getting the job done 💪

🚧Progress Update from Raven Quay!🚧

Great news - work on Raven Quay is moving along smoothly.
This week our team tackled the challenge of pulling a stormwater pipe through from the river side. Thinking outside the box, we turned the river into an advantage - floating the pipe into place with precision and teamwork.

What we hope you will bring to us:
• Drainage Experience – either Foreman, or 2IC level experience
• A full driver’s licence. Holding WTR would be an advantage.
• A Level 4 Qualification in Stormwater or Wastewater would be an advantage. Ongrade can assist in gaining this qualification.
• Being an CCC approved installer would be an advantage. Again Ongrade can help you gain this.
• Able to read, interpret and set heights to civil plans without issue.
• Must be competent working alone and as part of a team, taking responsibility and aiming for high quality standards.
• Must be competent with a range of machinery and equipment from lasers and compaction equipment to excavators and loaders.
• A great attitude, with the ability to motivate and direct staff within your crew.

Our crew started on a new project in Kaiapoi this week, we are upgrading the water, storm water and sewer on Raven Quay. It's great to have a project back in our home town.

A couple of our crews have just head to Hanmer springs to get started on a Red Barn subdivision. Keep an eye on our updates as we start to get really established onsite. Some cool new things turning up soon 😳😏

Last week Ongrade started establishing onsite in Hanmer Springs, we will be completing earthworks, sewer, stormwater, waters, services, roading, kerb & channel and landscaping for 11 lots in the first stage of this subdivision.
