Wow the year is almost done and we have had a busy busy year! We are terrible at posting but trying.... 🤣😝

We are proud of lots this year but one thing that sticks out that we want to celebrate is this - $2.9k in donations we've given to either local causes or charities.

Thank you to all our clients for trusting us in your photography sessions this year. We are humbled and grateful.

We are excited about 2025 and wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!

Hiya, quick update on this - thank you to those who have placed orders, I sincerely appreciate it more than you'll ever know!

These prices will end this Sunday and will go back to my old pricing on the website.

I'll send the donation to the surf club after Sunday.

Hiya! I've got a few prints left from the market a couple of weeks ago so thought I'd offer the prints to the local Bethells, Te Henga community and donate 20% to the surf club rebuild.

Here I've got A4 prints for $30 and A3 for $55. Great christmas gift for anyone who loves it out here and also good for the community!

Karekare is stunning. We went for a family walk a couple of weeks ago and what's really cool is you can walk to Whatipu. I love this cool rock formation that is pretty much on the edge of Whatipu-Karekare. This looks amazing on fine art matte paper, the blacks are just so black! Will be loaded onto my website in the next few days.

I've kinda just overlooked lavender in the past and thought it was only really good for smelling nice. But I've got a new found love for the flower. I'm going to school myself in the proper names for these things, but before I do that I wanted to share this cool photo I took this morning while having some fun in the garden. Look at the tiny flowers on the base of the flower - how cool! It's like flowers within a flower. Also check out the pollen on the bee, I'm easily impressed 😂

Just sold this image today. This was taken on a family trip last summer when we were up north visiting extended family. Bayleys Beach is part of Ripiro Beach, NZ's longest driveable beach at over 100km long. It's like a huge playground for all who love the outdoors. Happy world photography day! Photography is my way of capturing memories for people in both an artful and natural documentary style. My journey began way back with a long thin camera in the 80s (I don't remember the name but it took 110 film and mine was a cool blue colour) taking photos of my family but mostly just tons and tons of my pets 😆 It evolved into travel photography when I traveled (which I still love) and now has come full circle taking photos of my family again. Here's a photo of my cuties, my inspiration. Happy photography day!!

Our family loves the beach in winter. The weather is often dramatic and quickly changing and you get to rug up and walk in fresh air and wind. This is Wigmore Bay, around the south end rocks at Bethells Beach. This particular day we came across a dead whale which was fascinating (and smelly!).
