Our Story

Paparoa Shuttles is built on many years of adventure tourism. Since 1992 we have been providing outstanding professional cycle and walking experiences in both a fully guided and self guided structure. Over the years we have refined our knowledge and sharpened our logistics skills. As technology has evolved, we have used what works and what provides meaningful support to our processes.

Through hard won experience, we know how to handle things when that unplanned weather system moves in and disrupts travel plans. Handling the outcomes of injuries or damage to equipment well, can make all the difference to planned itineraries.

From operating fully guided trips around New Zealand and overseas, we have developed those skills on the Alps 2 Ocean and West Coast Wilderness Trail. Extending our cover to the exciting Paparoa Track has bought us in contact with some great new friends. These providers have their own vision and are working on bringing their own awesome magic to the packages we have been able to develop for you. Our services are built on developing great partnerships and we have enjoyed getting to meet other visionaries who are currently building rooms and services to make your trip a delight.

Behind Paparoa Shuttles, lies a wealth of experience and customer service that is hard to match. Our vehicle fleet has been developed to meet a range of needs and group sizes. In combination with our sister companies at Hokitika and Twizel, we can offer a full range of services. Our growth has come because we truly enjoy working with people and we are just great at doing this, and our customers have kept on coming back – along with their friends.
