Qantas no longer requires vaccinations to travel internationally.

From 19 July 2022, we'll no longer require passengers travelling on international flights operated by the Qantas Group to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Passengers will no longer need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to board their flight unless it's a country-specific requirement, so we recommend passengers check specific requirements before travel. This change is in response to the Australian Government’s removal of the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for international travellers coming to Australia.

Great news for Travellers into Australia.

From Wednesday 6th of July you will no longer need to complete the Australian DPD, which means you no longer need to give your vaccination status.

Government websites have not been updated yet to show this change but it is being reported in the media.

Great news for so many families and those who have been waiting for it.

Please check state and government websites over the next few days.

From 21 June 2022, you will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand.

Most travellers still need to meet vaccination requirements and take 2 rapid antigen tests (RATs) after they arrive in New Zealand.

Travellers whose first international flight to New Zealand departs after 11:59pm (NZT) Monday 20 June 2022 will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand. This applies to travellers entering New Zealand from anywhere in the world.

If you are transiting through New Zealand, you no longer need to meet vaccination requirements or complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration.
