We had a lovely couple come and stay this weekend.
He wanted to treat his lady to a romantic night away and enlisted our help to make their getaway special. The weather played ball and they had a gorgeous afternoon of wining and dining while they soaked up the beauty that Waihi Beach has to offer 😍

The super stunning Karangahake Gorge is on our doorstep and should be on your list of things to see and do if you are visiting this area 😍
You can walk, ride or even take the old train through to Waikino station.
If you do want to take in the sights by bike, you can bring your own or hire one from the Discovery Centre in town. We do have space at our place to store your bike 😁

So who knew that Bowentown Boat Club had built a massive wrap around deck off the dining area?!
We had brunch there this morning and even tho it was a bit of a moody day - it was beautiful to sit outside and soak up the stunning scenery 😍
Bonus that the food was good and the staff are lovely❣
My photos don't do it justice so you might just have to check it out for yourself.

If you are in the mood for a getaway - we are offering a grazing platter on arrival and a selection of breakfasts for any 3 night stay during the month of March.

Brad an award winning chef and owner of the Falls Retreat is offering some pretty amazing classes on all things culinary. There is something for everyone and most workshops cost $150 pp and include lunch.
