This week we traded in wine tasting at vineyards for a cold beer at our campsite after short hikes in the mountains. We’ve loved the independence of having our own camper and the freedom to camp anywhere. We’ve had a few interesting moments with flat tyres, vehicle breakages and getting too close to the Russian border, but it’s been an incredible adventure. Only a few days left in Georgia and we are spending this time relaxing at the 5th seasons hotel which is only accessible by foot. This has been an awesome way to enter my 40’s with the best travel companion possible!

We decided to spend the rest of our holiday in Georgia, it’s an affordable destination that offers stunning hiking, wild camping and is the oldest wine making region in the world - amazing! We hired a 4x4 Camper van so we could explore the remote corners of this stunning country. We’ve spent 12 days here so far and it has exceeded all expectations!

7 nights on a Viking River Cruise from Basel to Amsterdam was an easy, relaxing way to explore some of the villages and cities on the Rhine. Vikings service and food are a 5 star experience and I’d highly recommend this journey.

We had an amazing four day stopover in Seoul, South Korea on our way to London. We absolutely loved this city and could have easily spent another week exploring. The city was safe, clean and easy to get around on the metro system. Some of the highlights included tandem biking on the Han River trail (100km loop trail), sampling the local food and beverages on a BBQ food tour (zenkimchi) and walking for miles exploring the cities laneways.

Just got back from an amazing week in Niue! If you’re looking to get away from the crowds and get into nature, this place is a hidden gem just a short flight from NZ. Highlights of the trip were swimming alongside spinner dolphins and snorkelling in the Chasms with no one else around!

Our last stop on our Philippine adventure was Port Barton in Palawan. This was a super chilled beach town surrounded by Jungle, white sand beaches and probably the best coral reef I have ever seen. The Philippines has over 7,000 islands and we only visited 4, there is so much to explore we cannot wait to go back……

To escape the crowds in Coron we spent a few days on a private houseboat, this has to be one of my all time favourite travel experiences ever! The rooms include paddle boards, kayaks, snorkelling gear and a walkie talkie so you can order food and drink delivered by speedboat, this place is absolute paradise 🏝🏖🍸! I think this is a great and more affordable alternative to the Maldives, we will definitely be back...

We had six days on Siqujor Island and wish we had longer. You can scooter around the entire island in 4 hours. We spent our days exploring the mountains, jumping off waterfalls, swimming at white sand beaches and drinking $3 piña colada's at sunset!

We arrived in Siquijor this afternoon, it’s off the beaten track and involves several ferries and bus rides but it is well worth the effort!

First time overseas since 2019 and I am so happy we picked the Philippines! What a beautiful place with the most incredible people, we’ve had so many adventures already. We spent the first 6 days exploring the island of Cebu on our trusty Moped and now we are off to the island of Siquijor!
