New Zealand has some of the best Tahr hunting in the world. At Exclusive Adventures New Zealand we hunt these animals a variety of ways from spike camps, foot hunting and also utilize the use helicopters.

The big advantage with us is that you can hunt Tahr from our lodge, so you can come back to your family or friends after each day’s hunt to enjoy the luxuries the lodge and chefs offer.

Spearfishing: The home of giant kingfish

Had a great start to our New Zealand summer this year with finally getting a Yellowtail Kingfish over the 40kg/90lb mark. The shot is better than it looks, with the shaft breaking the spine of the fish, making it a short fight to the surface. Thanks again to the Davey’s for another amazing adventure together. Elk vs Red Stag, we thought it was going to be on! Huge size difference in body, although the red stag’s antlers are over 100 inches bigger than the elk/wapiti.
