‼️ AKL AIPORT: DO NOT TRAVEL TO INT’L TERMINAL ‼️

Auckland Airport has closed its international terminal check-in area to visitors due to flooding inside the building.

“Our request is that people do not travel to the international terminal at this time. We sincerely apologise to any travellers impacted by the closure of the international terminal,” says a spokesman.

The airport company is encouraging travellers to get in touch with their airline for the latest information and for any impacts on your travel plans.

Earlier damage to Auckland Airport’s runway lighting caused by an arriving flight has been fixed. The runway continues to remain partially open, it adds.

Evening All,

I have tried to put this message off for awhile but with enquiry picking up and only me doing the work working 7 days is no longer possible.

I am so grateful for all the referrals and love trying to help clients use their outstanding credits even though not originally booked through me but at this moment I am not able to assist with these requests. Please feel free to reach out to the Palmerston North office for assistance.

Of course I will still offer my personal clients with credits the service they expect and have ability to take on new bookings for existing clients and referals that come from them.

I'd also like to take the chance to advise I am now charging a Travel Management fee, and this will be explained in full before your quote is provided.

I will be taking a break over the xmas period and will have my out of office on from the 22nd December till the 7th January to spend some much needed time with family.

Great news for those with current Air New Zealand Credits

Extension to credit validity
Air New Zealand is pleased to advise we are extending the expiry date on all credits to provide customers more time for these to be utilized.

Customers who have a credit as of 30 September 2022 now have until 31 January 2024 to book a new flight with all travel completed by 31 December 2024.
All existing Credits/Virtual Card expiry dates will be amended on Monday to 31 January 2024.

Please note, any bookings eligible to be placed into credit from 1 October 2022 are valid for 12 months from first date of original travel.

By the end of October 2022, we will have all 29 International ports operating again and over summer we will be operating 80% of our pre-covid international capacity opening up more choice for your customers
where and when they fly.

Travel to Fiji is now even easier - Make your booking TODAY !!

On Friday evening, the Fijian Government made the decision to remove the requirement for a RAT test with-in 72 hours of arriving into Fiji. This takes effect from today, 5 September 2022.

The requirements of being fully vaccinated and having travel insurance with Covid-19 coverage continue to remain in place.

Those who have already pre-booked/pre-paid for their arrival RAT test are can still complete their tests as per their bookings if they wish, however they can also request a refund.
Refunds can be requested through the amend/cancel link on the booking receipt email that is received by the traveller once their pre booked & paid test was confirmed. We have been advised that refunds will be provided within 5-10 working days.

At present there are over twenty thousand bookings in the RAT booking system so as you can imagine this will be big undertaking. Please contact [email protected] should you have additional queries.

Finially some great news 🥳

**BREAKING NEWS** This is the announcement we’ve been waiting for! 🥳🥳🥳 The government has just confirmed that fully vaxxed Kiwis travelling from Australia will be able to come back to New Zealand without self-isolating from Thursday 3 March and from the rest of the world from Saturday 5 March. 🙌

This means families can finally be reunited without going through MIQ or self-isolation and travel lovers like us can start travelling again. What an amazing news! ❤️✈️

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!! The government has just announced some huge changes around MIQ and opening our borders! 🥳🥳🥳 Kiwis will finally be able to reconnect to the world soon! ❤

There will be 3 steps:

STEP 1: From 17 January 2022, fully-vaccinated Kiwis and other eligible travellers coming back from Australia will be able to self-isolate at home and bypass MIQ

STEP 2: From 14 February 2022, fully-vaccinated Kiwis and other eligible travellers coming back from all other countries (with the exception of high risk countries) will be able to self-isolate at home and bypass MIQ

STEP 3: From 30 April, all fully-vaccinated foreign nationals will be able to travel to New Zealand, with the re-opening staged over time (possibly staged by visa category)

All travellers eligible for each of these steps will require the following:
👉 A negative pre-departure test
👉 Proof of being fully vaccinated
👉 A passenger declaration about travel history
👉 A day 0/1 test on arrival
👉 A requirement to self-isolate for 7 days
👉 A final negative test before entering the community

NEW ZEALAND AND COOK ISLANDS TRAVEL BUBBLE
The Cook Islands Government has indicated that re-opening the border with New Zealand, for quarantine-free travel, will not happen until they are fully confident that there is no community transmission of COVID-19 in New Zealand. This will likely occur when New Zealand is at Alert Level 1. All future visitors to the Cook Islands, aged 12 years and above, will need to be fully vaccinated (except those with a medical certificate).

Alert Level 2 extended to keep Cook Islands safe
The Cook Islands will remain at Alert Level 2 until there has been 14 days in New Zealand without any new cases of community transmission of COVID-19. Additionally, the travel advisory restricting inward arrivals to the Cook Islands has been further extended until 11.59pm on 28 September 2021

Attention all Travellers to Australia.

‼️ TRANSTASMAN BUBBLE PAUSED ‼️

Quarantine-Free Travel from all Australian states and territories will be paused from 2230 (NZT) tonight until 2359 (NZT) on Tue, 29 June.

The decision comes as Australia reports multiple cases and outbreaks.

This Government says this short pause will give it time to get a better understanding of the developing situation, and to consider a range of measures to make the bubble safer, such as the possible introduction of pre-departure testing for all flights from Australia to New Zealand.

Anyone who was in Australia from 21 Jun onwards should monitor their health, and be aware that the number of locations of interest in Australia is increasing and they should be checking these regularly.

Attention all Sydney Travelers

The New Zealand Government has announced the suspension of quarantine-free travel from New South Wales (Sydney) to New Zealand for 72 hours from 11.59pm tonight, Tuesday 22 June 2021.

Quarantine-Free Travel from New South Wales to New Zealand will be paused for 72 hours from 11.59pm tonight (Tuesday 22 June) New Zealand time. As with previous pauses this will be under constant review.

Quarantine free travel from New Zealand to NSW continues (although as with other pauses there will likely be service cancellations)

Ten new community cases of Covid-19 were announced in NSW today, taking the total number of cases linked to the current cluster to 21.

A quarantine-free travel bubble between New Zealand and the Cook Islands will officially launch 17 May, subject to conditions, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has just announced.
