The castle is located in the height of Samail "Sulaya" and extends through the isolated eastern facade of an isolated rock. It is about 80 metres wide at the bottom. The fort is a large circular tower built with stones and plaster and is located at the highest point on the rock, while on the north side of the rock it is paralleled by a square-shaped tower. There are high walls surrounding the fortress, which are irregular and connect the fort and the front stronghold, where there is the main entrance to the fort. The frontal stronghold includes the Wali, which consists of two floors and another house of the military colonel.

On both sides of the entrance is Barzeh for the guard on the western side of the fort. Inside the fort, there are garrison buildings, some of which are built adjacent to the fence, a small mosque, a prison, a weapons store, and another for timber. S-B-miles said after his visit to the fort at the end of the thirteenth century AH / nineteenth century AD, he saw eight iron cannons, but now there are six cannons, one of which is bronze and an ornate liner. The building on top is an artillery tower with a diameter of 11 metres and a height of about 7 metres and a high ground diameter of about 7.4 metres. The tower is entered by steps leading to a small door in the eastern side. Its walls are 1.7 metres thick. It is supported on both the north and south by pillars of 1.5 metres long and 80 cm wide and extending to the upper floor The walls are interspersed with small openings that may have fired arrows, and there are also openings at ground level, only the top of which are exposed, which may indicate that the floor was high.

The roof of the building is reached by steps cut into a palm trunk through a gap in the roof consisting of palm trunks. The thickness of the outer fence here decreases to one metre and the diameter of the built surface becomes 8.6 m. The top of the fence in the north expands, forming an observation platform. To the east of the entrance to the tower is a cellar engraved in the rock with a length of 4.7 metres, a width of 2.3 metres and a depth of 3 metres. It has a double-strand entrance facing the tower. It is believed that the cellar was a storehouse of water, there are signs of plastering and may have been used as a prison to punish criminals
