Option 1: Wadi Shab Day Trip.

Pick up from your hotel in Muscat at 7.30am/8am (see notes below for tours operating between May and August) and drive to Wadi Shab, about 2 hours. From there we will cross a small river in a boat to start a 45 minute walk to the pools. The path has some climbs but nothing too difficult (we advise you to wear sport shoes). Once we reach Wadi Shab, we will go through its 3 pools. This will be a combination of swimming and walking in various depths of water (i.e. not constant swimming). Upon reaching the 3rd pool there is a waterfall that you can climb up with the aid of a rope and jump off a cliff. This activity will take about 30 minutes. There will be places to rest along the way if needed. We will then walk back to the car and travel to the sinkhole, where you will have another opportunity to swim. Please ensure you bring water shoes or trainers, sun hat and sunscreen, a waterproof camera if you have one, and wear swimming gear, t-shirts, and shorts.



Notes:

• Trips booked from May to August will be subject to change pick up/drop off times due to Oman experiencing extreme heat in these months. Your health and safety is our primary concern and we want to ensure that you have the best possible experience.

• You may swim bare feet, but water shoes are recommended.

• If you are not confident swimmers we can provide life jackets - just let me know beforehand.

• This tour is open to people of all ages, but we recommend that you be in good/average physical shape.

• We are happy to customise any aspects of this tour to suit your wishes and/or abilities.

• Valuables may be kept in the locked vehicle, or you may leave them at the hotel.

• If you do not have a waterproof camera but would still like to take pictures you may bring your phone/camera and leave it on the bank before entering the pools



This day will include: fuel, car, lunch in a local restaurant, drinking water and our guide.

The cost for this trip 110 OMR for 2 people.



Option 2: Wadi Bani Khaled/wahiba sands

Pick up from your hotel at 7.30 -8am and drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, an amazing wadi where we can visit the town and walk for 20-30 minutes to view the beautiful canyon with its huge cliffs and even take a swim if you would like in the clear pools of water.



After this we will head to the Wahiba Sands where we can drive through desert, admiring the beautiful sand dunes, taking photos, looking out for wild camels and visiting a Bedouin house. For health and safety reasons, this day trip does not include "dune bashing", thank you for your understanding.



This day will include: fuel, car, lunch in a local restaurant, drinking water and our guide.

Another option for Wadi Bani Khalid is spending around 3 hours at a more adventurous area of the wadi where we can go through the canyon hiking, swimming, sliding, and climbing, then come back the same route. It requires above average fitness level.

The cost is 130 OMR for 2 people.

Option 3: Nizwa/jabel Akhdar.

Pick up time: 7.30-8am from your hotel and we drive to the north to visit Nizwa Fort and explore a local market. Then head to Jabal al Akhdar where we drive through the mountain pass and take in the amazing views across the rugged terrain and small villages and walk through the beautiful scenery. Our driver then takes you back to Muscat to your hotel.



This day will include: fuel, car, lunch in a local restaurant, drinking water and our guide.

The cost is 150 OMR for 2 people.

Option 4: Wadi Tiwi Day Trip

Pick up from your hotel in Muscat at 7.30am/8am (see notes above for tours operating between May and August) and drive to Wadi Tiwi, about 2 hours and 20 minutes. This option offers an enjoyable 20 min ride along the beautiful farms and a total of 5 villages in the middle of an oasis. Along the way, we’ll be able to see panoramic views of the entire area with the villages in the middle. When we reach the car park, we’ll start a 10 min hike towards the waterfall and pools, then we’ll go down the stairs for 15 min. This area is accessible to anyone of various fitness levels, whether you are young or old you will be able to reach it. Then, we can use ropes to climb down the other pools and jump into the refreshing clear waters with close support and guidance from our experienced guides, respecting all advised safety measures. On the way back, we’ll enjoy once again our panoramic view of the five villages, and travel to the sinkhole, where you will have another opportunity to swim in this marvellous natural gem.

Please ensure you bring water shoes or trainers, sun hat and sunscreen, a water camera if you have one and wear swimming gear, t-shirts, and shorts.

The cost: 110 for 2 people.



Option 5: Muscat City tour

This is a 4 hour, half day trip.

For this trip, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8am.

We go to discover the exciting Mutrah Souq and surroundings, view His Majesty Sultan's palace from the outside and two of the forts built by the Portuguese. We can also visit one or two museums to learn more about Omani culture, heritage, and history.

Also , we can visit two iconic buildings in Muscat; Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque & the Opera House. We can start with a visit of the Grand Mosque. It is obligatory to cover up for the visit (men: trousers and shirt, women covered arms, legs, and head scarf. There is a possibility to rent an abaya for +/- 2,5 rials at the mosque). Thank you for your understanding.

From there, back into your normal outfit, and we can visit the opera house (if you would like to visit the inside, the entry ticket costs 3 rials and will be at your charge).

This trip includes: transportation, fuel, our guide, and drinking water.

The cost: 60 OMR for 2 people.

NB: I'd like to point out that we also run overnight trips according to our customers' choices. These trips can go for two days or longer and can include many places. We offer camping choices, and we can recommend hotels to overnight. If you are interested in this option, just let us know which places you wish to visit, and we can tailor a trip programme for you.

Prices are subject to the number of people. You can cancel your trip for free up to 48 hours in advance, but after that we ask to be reimbursed 50% of the trip's costs
