We are pleased to inform you about the "Summer Course for German Language and Culture in Austria", which will take place from August 7th to 25th, 2023 at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.

The three-week summer course offers adults from all over the world (minimum age 18) a challenging and varied program:
• Intensive language training for different levels (according to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages);
• Lectures on Austrian politics, history, and culture;
• Excursions to international organizations, Austrian institutions, and cultural facilities (e.g. UNO, Kunsthistorisches Museum, city tour, Schönbrunn);
• City excursions, in which the participants have the opportunity to experience Vienna off the beaten track, and the language knowledge acquired in class is practically unique;
• Leisure activities, such as a hike through the vineyards around Vienna, a visit to a wine tavern (incl. wine tasting), and a waltz course as well
• a full-day trip to one of the Austrian provinces.

A total of 4-course options will be offered, with the option of booking accommodation (including breakfast) and lunch at the time of booking.

Austria-Oman tourism cooperation is being refreshed!

Anlässlich des WTTC Global Summit in Riyadh 🇸🇦 machte es Sinn auch im mittleren Osten über den touristischen Tellerrand zu schauen. Dabei ging es auch um österreichisches Know-how im Oman 🇴🇲 - davon konnte ich mich bei einem Treffen mit dem österreichischen Botschafter Christian Brunmayr überzeugen.

Bei dem Gespräch, an dem auch sein Assistent Aziz Badir und Hajir Abubakr von ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Oman teilnahmen, ging es außerdem um die wirtschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen Österreich und dem Oman, die Ausbildung und die Entwicklungen im Tourismus 🏨

Der Tourismus wird für den Oman immer bedeutender und nachhaltige Vorzeigeprojekte sind in der Pipeline. Um diese weiter voranzutreiben, baut das Sultanat derzeit an einem der größten botanischen Gärten der Welt 🌴🌺🌿

Dabei spielt auch die österreichische Wirtschaft eine entscheidende Rolle 🇦🇹: Mit Seilbahnen des österreichischen Unternehmens Doppelmayr 🚠 sollen Besucherinnen und Besucher die grüne Oase entdecken können.

Zwecks besserer touristischer Erschließung der Bergregion ⛰️ könnte ein weiteres Seilbahnprojekt mit der Beteiligung von Doppelmayr folgen.
