Fantastic 4 days with .collin .kattan and Alexa from tagging marlin. We went 6-6-5 with a double up on blues, a stripe and two more blues. All were tagged and released with satellite or spot tags. I’m very excited to see where these fish move and travel to over the coming months.

What is even more incredible is he has only been fly fishing just short of 2 years, but with a lot dedication and practice he is up there with the best of them with his casting ability.

Back breaking guides day out. Clare found the tuna early on and the topwater bite was insane the the whole day. We landed 5 fish over 60kg (the biggest just under 90kg) and 4 over 50kg. And a dozen or so in the 15-40kg range. To say we went home broken was an understatement.

We had some pretty amazing tailing Africanus this last week with a few fish briefly pricked. As fly fishing goes it doesn’t get much better than seeing a permit feeding frenzy. #flyfishingoman

Khareef (Southern Oman's monsoon) is in full swing at the moment. Rough seas, mist and rain are things you don't think of on the Arabian peninsula. But it will come to an end in September and we can't wait to be straight back into some tailing fish. #flyfishingoman
