Most of the ceilings installed on the interior of the main structures. The tile work has started with the bathrooms in the main house and the leveling for the floor tile is underway. The gutters are being painted and prepped for installation.

Additionally, the septic system rough dig is complete and the rock/gravel leach field area is in place. More tiling and work on the septic for the remainder of this week!

Again, lots of rain this week but progress continues. Windows and glass blocks installed, just waiting to install the screened vents for the glass block areas. Preparing to install gutters on both main structures. Pumphouse is 80% and fill starting to arrive for the grade.

The wires are getting pulled for the light fixtures inside to allow for the ceiling to get installed.

Everything is coming together!

Lots of rain this week so the houses are getting base colors and the framing is getting erected for the ceilings.

Ongoing work on the metal framing for the roof of the main house this week. Additionally, they have started to apply the smooth layer to the walls in areas in both structures. It changes more each passing day!!

More work while we are away! Roofline beams for the carport ready to be poured and the roof panels are getting installed on the casita.

The walls continue to grow on the main house and the metal roof framing has started for the casita!!

This week has been a continuation of the concrete pouring for vertical columns and the horizontal cross beams. Also, got some string mock-ups over the main house to show roof lines and heights.

It looks better everyday!

Update: The walls of both houses are rising and rough electrical is 90% complete. Framing and pouring the columns through the remainder of this week!

The weather cooperated and we got the slab/floor poured for the main house today!!

Walls and rough electrical work going in for the Casita. It is hard to visualize all of the dimensions from 2D plans, but after standing inside the walls, it’s really going to be a nice space.

Plus, v***r barrier and rebar preparation for pouring the slab of the Casa. If the weather cooperates, the slab will be finished this week!

Progress continues!!

Lots of rain over the last few days but today was nice enough to pour the slab/floor for the Casita.
