Geoversity Holiday Camp

Great start to 2023. I worked with the good folks at Geoversity as part of their summer holiday camp. We went on some hikes, checked out some wildlife, plants and trees. There were 2 guest speakers; one taught us how to weave baskets, and the other taught us about mola's. They even showed us the biggest mola ever! We finished the week off with a trip to the Discovery Center in Gamboa where we saw Mot mot's, hummingbirds, monkeys, frogs, and a coatimundi. We had so much fun that no one took any pictures. Geoversity summer camps start next week and will continue into February. Gran comienzo para 2023. Trabajé con la gente de Geoversity como parte de su campamento de vacaciones. Hicimos algunas caminatas, revisamos algo de vida silvestre, plantas y árboles. Hubo 2 oradores invitados; Una nos enseñó a tejer canasta, y la otra nos enseñó sobre Molas. ¡Incluso nos mostraron la mola más grande de la historia! Terminamos la semana con un paseo al Discovery Center en Gamboa donde vimos aves Mot mot, colibríes, monos, ranas y un gato solo. Nos divertimos tanto que nadie tomó fotos. Los campamentos de verano de Geoversity comienzan la próxima semana y continuarán hasta febrero.
