According to a Prensa report 3 weeks ago, the company who won the bid for the new paved road from Pedasi to Cañas (passing through Playa Venao) has 540 calendar days to complete the project (and 36 months of maintenance afterwards). From the looks of it they’ve wasted no time, as the surveying started on these roads already!

De confirmarse la adjudicación a favor del Consorcio Azuero, el grupo tendrá 540 días calendario para terminar el proyecto, y una vez la obra sea aceptada por el Estado, deberá 👏🏻😄encargarse del mantenimiento de la carretera por 36 meses.
