Moving Forward -
We posted a long version of this on my personal page, but wanted to move it to our business page to keep our followers up to date with what is happening now that there is no tourism.
The truth is.
Anyone can build a wooden structure and call it a business. What we built is more fragile than that. Our business is made up of the people we fill it with. A team that we love enough to call family… and telling those you love their jobs were on hold until further notice was paralyzing.
BUT… we are moving forward and keeping busy on the islands in other ways.
❤️We gave food to the food bank for families in need
❤️We donated more money to help build food packages for needy families…
❤️We set a side more money to do it again …
Then we did what we do best… We came up with a plan to invest in the community we love and cherish…
We posted signed all over the community that we are buying coconut oil.
Why coconut oil? because the beaches are lined with Palm Trees… and within the rainforest behind those beaches lives the most amazing community of Ngäbe-Buglé Indians. With the means to make the most pure organic coconut oil on earth… 🌏
So we are collecting the oil and soon we will be posting what we are doing with it.
1 Bottle of Oil is equivalent to the dollar amount a family needs to provide basic food supplies for their families … and basic food supplies are what we need right now
