🚘 Salineras de Maras: Tour Valle Sagrado 🚘
Maras es una salinera en la sierra peruana con más de 3000 pozas o piscinas de sal, cuyo uso por los pobladores de la zona es tan antiguo como el mismo imperio Inca. Estas salineras están ubicadas sobre la ladera del cerro y son alimentadas por un riachuelo direccionado por canales, con una carga salina altísima. Las salineras de Maras son muy antiguas y hasta hoy significan una fuente de ingresos y trabajo para las comunidades cercanas, además de tradición y costumbres ancestrales.

Ollantaytambo: Sacred Valley tour.
Ollantaytambo is a town in the Sacred Valley of Peru, which lies to the south on the Urubamba River and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. It is known for the ruins of Ollantaytambo, a huge Inca fort with large stone terraces on a hillside. Some of the most important sites in the complex are the Temple of the Sun and the source of the Baths of the Princesses. The historic center has cobblestone streets and adobe buildings from the time of the Incas.

Descubre: Las Salineras de Maras cuentan con más de 3000 pozas, de distintos tamaños y dimensiones, las cuales son alimentadas por agua salada que brota del subsuelo de la montaña Qaqawiñay. El intenso sol hace que el agua se evapore, dejando cristales de sal que luego son “cosechados” con un trozo de madera con el que se va raspando la sal, la cual se coloca en pequeños cestos, para eliminar el agua sobrante. Luego de unos días, se vuelve a abrir el paso de agua y el proceso se repite.
