Yesterday was the 46th Anniversary of Huaypo Grande. We were invited to enjoy the covid-safe festivities with other members of the community and had a wonderful time! Many of the participants dressed in their native attire from Chinchero.

Huaypo Lake is located in the Chinchero District of Peru, which is known for its native textiles. Local weavers have preserved the traditional way of weaving, using only natural dyes from the surrounding environment.
