As one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is a must-visit for many travelers to Peru. Visitors are required to enter with an official tour guide in small groups of up to 10 people. Entry is permitted in hour-specific time slots and is limited to 3 hours approx.

Se incrementa el aforo de ingreso a la Llaqta de Machupicchu, a 5044 personas por día.

Decisión tomada con la finalidad de atender de manera excepcional, la demanda de visitantes que han llegado al distrito de Machupicchu, por fiestas patrias y temporada alta, lo cual ha sobrepasado el número máximo permitido por día, que era de 4,044 personas.

👉Comunicado.

La DDC Cusco del Ministerio de Cultura hacen de conocimiento al publico en general y los operadores turísticos, que a consecuencia de la alta demanda de visitantes a la Llaqta de Machupicchu, en forma excepcional y por única vez a partir del 21 hasta el 31 de julio del presente año, se va a liberar 150 espacios por dia, esto en concordancia con los espacios no utilizados y sin vulnerar lo dispuesto en la Resolución Ministerial N° 224-2022-DM/MC que establece la capacidad diaria máxima de 4044 espacios por día. Para tal efecto, la adquisición del boleto se realizará a partir de las 12:00 horas de manera presencial en los módulos de venta de las oficinas de la DDC Cusco, ingresando al monumento a las 15:00 horas, sin posibilidad alguna de ampliar esta medida extraordinaria o excepcional para fechas posteriores a lo establecido.
