Are you reading for the summer? We are 😎❤️ check out the link in our profile to see about a 3-4 week rental in August. Flashing back to a few weeks ago when cleaning supplies were readily available😊 We always have a clean Haus... ❤️
We know many people are concerned about upcoming travel plans and may be looking for more localized Spring/Summer options. How about renting a house in the Catskills for a long weekend. You can go hiking or biking. How about a game or two of tennis on property if you stay . Swimming, fishing and stand up paddle boarding are options too seeing there is a private two acre lake on property. Relaxing by the fire pit or using one of the two BBQ’s on property are a good options as well as doing yoga,drinking cocktails,or catching up on a good book. There are multiple outdoor seating areas as well as many cozy nooks inside the well appointed and curated house.
The house is cleaned before and after each and every stay. Check out the listing and book your summer getaway.

Winter is coming to a close and spring is around the corner. Days are getting longer and full of more light. It’s a perfect time to start thinking about spring and summer travel plans. Where will you go? Will you stay local? Take more road trips? Are you planning to take a flying vacation this coming spring/summer vacation season?

In such uncertain times one thing we know for sure is that visiting the Catskills and Upstate New York the air is clean, the sky is blue, there are plenty of outdoor activities like hiking,biking,fishing etc that require minimal exposure to germs. When staying you will enter a pristine,clean,sanitary environment. All our linens are cleaned after each stay, the house is disinfected after each stay. We provide additional cleaning supplies for guests to use during their stay in the event they would like to. -We absolutely love hosting on Airbnb and adore the people we have met in the Hunter/Tannersville community. Over the past 3 years.

-We have had the opportunity to host over 60 Airbnb groups as well as approximately 40 personal groups. Each time we host it’s a new and insightful experience. We love sharing The Haus... and love the love we have gotten from most who have shared the experience ❤️

-This past week we had to address a few bumps in the road as far as hosting. Our typically reliable cleaning crew had some other last minute responsibilities and I jumped in the car and took care of the cleaning turn around.
-Our guests and reputation mean so much to us.

-Ensuring each group has a unique opportunity and experience staying at The Haus and in the is most important to us. Cheers to Pre-Spring cleaning and a great rest of winter❤️

Each season presents a unique opportunity to explore and visit the

The activities are plentiful as are the scenic views and vast array of colors thanks to Mother Nature 🙏🏻

Falling into with the last of

-As hosts we periodically come up to to check on things and make sure “The Haus” is
-We love to see and hear what’s new and happening in the and area. We always love new and supporting

-During this weekend’s visit we have had the pleasure of enjoying
from which just opened about 2 weeks ago where the former mama’s boy pizza. The sauce was perfect and the crust was crispy. Oh and amaze spicy wings😋

This Am we shopped and got the beautiful produce and relaxing candle from ),
seen in the picture (we can’t wait to sauté the radish leaves in some fresh garlic, butter, olive oil and add a bit of crushed red pepper,we got this top from ).

lunching where our mom got to spend time with an old high school friend was terrific and delicious as always. The kids got a ton of candy,which is almost gone.

was spectacular as the leaves are starting to turn.


We are 🙏🏻for something good to grill tonight (although our lake is catch and release we sometimes need to test the waters😉).

We picked up a case of Seyval Blanc and Hudson Chatham Red which we leave for guests that stay at The Lakehaus ❤️
