Destination Sogeri

From our local Product Managers the boys are Preparing the Destinations by constructing toilets, huts and BBQ areas, Bush Tracks, Motorcycling tracks, Biking Tracks and more.

From our Friends at Kokoda Trail Hotel, they are helping in complementing these Destinations by providing their facilities like shuttle services, conference facilities and accommodation. All of these packages put together to make up a Tourism Product.

From these Tourism Products we have professional volunteers from the Escape Island Getaway team providing their time and expertise for free to support and promote these Products and the People with the mission to empower the locals and improve their livelihoods.

We feel that we have to do things this way and really support the local groups because from our observation, all previous efforts in Terms of Tourism hasn’t really changed the lives of the people and improved their livelihoods. Therefore, #DestinationSogeri will not only promote the best experiences of Sogeri, it will also improve the lives of the people of Sogeri through volunteers.

So with the combination of these three groups and the use of this Page as an Information Centre, we believe we can give you a better experience of Sogeri in terms of Tourism Promotion and Travel Planning.
