𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭 was a part of San Fernando for 33 years before Don Angel Pantalion de Miranda, the founder, paid a requisite sum required by law at that time. On December 8, 1829, Culiat became an independent municipality of its own and a distinct town from San Fernando City. Now, it is already a 1st class highly urbanized city here in the Central Luzon. So let us see how Angeles is today and how it became a city renowned not only in Pampanga, but in the whole country as well.
